About Me.

            Taneisha Fisher-Morris is a licensed beautician/Cosmetologist with over 20+ years of experience in styling, cutting, curling etc... I studied at Mount Vernon high school adult program that offered cosmetology in 2001. I later went to Westchester Community College where I obtained two Associates Degrees. One in math and science and the other in Respiratory Care. I currently work at New York Presbyterian Columbia Hospital where I  and apart of the wonderful night shift staff.

              I have worked at a variety of different salons over the years which have given me the ability to learn the  proper care and handling of all hair types. At Maximum Volumes we offer many services which includes but not limited to Hair cutting, Curling Relaxers, permanent, wig installs, weaves, ponytails, natural hair styles, braiding, twisting, locs, fingerwaves, hair treatments and many more. We do hair styles for all ages and genders. 

           At Maximum Volumes Inc we have created a quiet, peaceful and enjoyable drama-free atmosphere for our clients to feel comfortable and at home while they go through the process of beautification. We try to provide the necessary things that is needed for proper and safe care of your hair. Our belief is that your hair is part of your beauty and making it healthy is very necessary.

The fundamentals of hair.  

  • cut, style, formulate and color, re-texture, change, manipulate, and reshape hair.

  • Apply natural, dramatic, special FX, and trendy makeup.

  • Remove, shape, sculpt, and groom facial hair.

  • File, buff, shape, polish, clean and care for natural and artificial nails.

  • Massage, manipulate, diagnose, and treat scalp and skin.

  • Communicate with Guests and Coworkers.

  • Recommend products that will help your Guest maintain their style outside of the salon.

The liberal Arts and Sciences-Math/Science degree emphasizes the development of strong analytical skills and background you need for critical thinking in a ever changing technological world. A broad range of courses are studied which includes but not limited to  math, science, biology, calculus, microbiology, human anatomy and physiology, physics, communications and computer programming.

Respiratory Therapy is an allied health profession specializing in diagnostic testing, therapeutic treatment and critical care support for patients with life-threatening or chronic cardiopulmonary diseases. Under medical direction, Respiratory Therapists assess and treat patients, monitor and evaluate cardiopulmonary function, perform diagnostic testing and maintain life-support systems for patients in critical care settings.

The curriculum includes classroom, laboratory and supervised clinical instruction covering cardiopulmonary anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology, therapeutic treatments, cardiopulmonary diagnostic technology, critical care and life-support technology for adults, children and infants, respiratory home care and pulmonary rehabilitation.
